Viccari Wheele launches ClaimWatch v2.0 - Offering improved functionality and further user benefits
Less than a year after the launch of ClaimWatch - the web-based package that enables bodyshops, work providers and motorists to track the status of their vehicle repair(s) - Viccari Wheele is introducing the next generation of the system, ClaimWatch v2.0. The upgraded system, available from June 2nd, sees several major changes to the operating system and reflects the increasingly sophisticated demands of ClaimWatch's targeted users.
The two major changes introduced in ClaimWatch v2.0 are an audit trail of jobs/job history and uplift functionality. Both functions increase the power and usefulness of ClaimWatch and Viccari Wheele is confident that the enhanced ClaimWatch v2.0 will have a wider appeal than the original ClaimWatch.
The introduction of the audit trail provides users with a record of dates and times for each stage of the repair, incorporating a 'finish date', whilst the new job uplift function enables ClaimWatch to be populated with information that was originated externally. This is a particularly valuable and time saving feature, enabling the automatic and accurate upload of data from an external system - e.g. an insurer's database - onto ClaimWatch. This has many advantages, not least of which is the more efficient processing of jobs.
Other user enhancements new to ClaimWatch v2.0 are a customer contact/diary screen recording all customer contact and statistical reports of repair progress through the bodyshop.
The software development team responsible for ClaimWatch are committed to a programme of continuous development and since its launch in June 2002, ClaimWatch has been updated three times, each new version adding user functionality. The key enhancements added since its launch are an integral courtesy car programme to show availability of the bodyshop's courtesy car fleet, the introduction of SMS (text) messaging, a 'one click' operation to update the repair status of the vehicle and the ability to export information from Glassmatix III, Audatex, Motex and Automate into ClaimWatch. All of these functions remain part of ClaimWatch v2.0.
Steve Wheele of Viccari Wheele says, "We are delighted with the increased functionality and sophistication of ClaimWatch v2.0 and we know that our clients will be too. The detailed enhancements that we have made show that we really understand the bodyshop industry and the claims process.
He concludes, "This is an excellent and easy-to-use product that has been proven to make a real difference for bodyshops and work providers who have bought it in the past year. As ClaimWatch's reputation and market penetration grows, we are confident that it will become a 'must have' system for all bodyshops and work providers looking to enhance efficiency and improve customer service."
ClaimWatch v2.0 will be available from June 2nd. The one-off set up cost will be £950.00 and there is a monthly licence fee of £95.00 that includes maintenance and web hosting costs. Existing ClaimWatch users will be given the opportunity to upgrade to v2.0 and enjoy the new functionality simply by increasing their monthly licence fee.
