ClaimWatch Press Release

Launch of ClaimWatch V 2.7 heralds new era of bodyshop communication

ClaimWatch Ltd has just launched Version 2.7 of its award winning ClaimWatch® package. This free upgrade, the thirteenth in the five years since ClaimWatch was launched, focuses on the way bodyshops communicate with their customers.

From the start, ClaimWatch has helped bodyshops communicate more effectively and efficiently with their customers, saving them significant amounts of time and money whilst improving customer satisfaction levels. ClaimWatch V2.7 takes this several steps forwards – scoring users on their customer care activities and thus encouraging bodyshops to raise their game and gain the tangible business benefits that will come from maximising their communication scores.

One of the most popular elements of ClaimWatch is its ability to enable bodyshops to send SMS text messages to customers throughout the repair process. With V2.7 bodyshops are scored on the number of customer email addresses and mobile phone numbers they collect and use, with maximum points being awarded to those bodyshops who make best use of ClaimWatch by sending all of the appropriate pre-programmed SMS texts to complete the repair story for each customer.

The communication score is updated every 24 hours and bodyshops are graded on the ‘traffic light’ system of red, amber or green. Red, to alert bodyshops to stop and review their processes; Amber, to encourage them to think about ways they can improve; and Green to show they are doing well and can continue. ClaimWatch recommends bodyshops aim for an ongoing score of 60% as a minimum best practice standard.

Steve Wheele, ClaimWatch’s Managing Director, comments, “We’re confident that our traffic light scoring system will really encourage bodyshops to maximise their use of ClaimWatch’s communication abilities. It’s an easy-to-understand, fun-to-use system and our research clearly shows that capturing contact details, and then using them, really does enhance the customer’s experience, and encourages motorists to both return to, and recommend, a bodyshop.”

Steve concludes, “ClaimWatch is proven to make a real difference to the efficiency and customer care standards of user bodyshops, allowing them to increase productivity without adding to their working hours. We’re confident that the improved V2.7 will further increase user benefit, cut phone costs and enable us to win over even more customers!”

ClaimWatch V2.7 is available from 29 May 2007 and all existing users will be automatically upgraded at no extra charge. New users pay a one-off set up cost of Ł950.00 (+VAT) and a monthly licence fee of Ł95.00 (+VAT). Lower volume bodyshops may be interested in ClaimWatch Starter, which makes the sophisticated technology available for just Ł11 per week. The licence fee includes all maintenance, web hosting costs, upgrades and telephone support.

ClaimWatch can be purchased direct from ClaimWatch Ltd. For more information on the system generally, or Version 2.7 enhancements specifically, please visitwww.claimwatch.co.uk . To obtain a user name and password to trial the system please call 01274 244088.
