ClaimWatch improves functionality with SMS facility and other upgrades
Viccari Wheele has improved the functionality of ClaimWatch by adding three user enhancements to the system. ClaimWatch now has an SMS (text messaging) function, a 'one click' operation to update the repair status of the vehicle and the ability to export information from Glassmatix III and Audatex into ClaimWatch.
Claimwatch is a web-based package that enables bodyshops, work providers and motorists to track the status of their vehicle repairs(s) and these new features will make it even more of a 'must have' system for all bodyshops looking to enhance efficiency and improve customer service.
One of the major benefits of Claimwatch is that it simplifies communication with, and improves the level of care experienced by, customers. Viccari Wheele is confident that the SMS technology will bring further communication benefits to a wider audience.
The updated ClaimWatch enables bodyshops to text customers at any stage of the repair process and comes complete with three pre-set messages that will be sent automatically when a mobile phone number has been entered into the system. The three pre-sets are as follows: the first tells the customer that the repairs on his vehicle have begun; the second updates on the status of the repair and gives an estimated completion date, whilst the third asks the customer to call the bodyshop to arrange collection.
Personalised messages can easily be added and sent at the bodyshop's discretion.
The other upgrades further improve functionality and user efficiency. The 'one click' status change has reduced the interactions by the operator from four clicks to one, whilst the built in import facility allows bodyshops running Glassmatix III or Audatex to export contact and other shared details directly into ClaimWatch, thus minimising the duplication of data entry.
Since it's launch in early summer, ClaimWatch has attracted great interest from bodyshops and work providers. Viccari Wheele is currently organising workshops for several of these interested parties.
Steve Wheele of Viccari Wheele comments, "We've been pleased with the way ClaimWatch has been received by the industry. We're very happy with the progress that is being made and are delighted with the positive feedback we're receiving from users and potential users. Initial analysis of customer usage shows that most motorists with access to Claimwatch really like it. One user reports a fall in the number of vehicle status calls made and received, whilst another bodyshop's figures show that the keenest motorists are checking the status of their car up to nine times a day!"
