ClaimWatch Press Release

ClaimWatch Version 2.4 launched with even more user-friendly enhancements

ClaimWatch Ltd has just launched V2.4 of its award winning ClaimWatchÆ package. The upgrade has focussed on three key areas: courtesy cars, customer tracking and repair updates provision. The combination of these major and minor changes make the latest version of ClaimWatch the most useful and user friendly version of ClaimWatch yet.

Where possible the programmers have incorporated specific functions requested by its users and this is clearly seen in the many enhancements to the courtesy car screens. ClaimWatch 2.4 incorporates the ability to make multiple courtesy car bookings for a repair job; a yes/no response to courtesy car allocation, which negates the need to specify booking in and out dates; mileage added to the courtesy car list screen; a courtesy car allocation automatically defaulting to current time and the removal of the 'Remove Courtesy Car' option to prevent the loss of important data.

The improvements in the customer page, arguably the most important ClaimWatch screen, are also noteworthy. On V2.4, the 'Methods of payment accepted' can be displayed by completing the field in the 'Edit bodyshop' screen and when a figure is not entered into the 'Excess' box on new repair jobs it now defaults to 'As per insurance policy' instead of 'Unknown.' The customer friendly enhancements are further strengthened with the new link to the feedback form on the tracking page with the results emailed to the bodyshop and the option for all customers to add their mobile numbers for automatic SMS (text message) updates.

The changes in the Updating Repairs pages include the option for updating work provider details; automatic recording of the details of the operative making the changes; all tracking page comments recorded in the Contact Diary as soon as they change and the ability to manually override auto SMS/email. Steve Wheele, Director of ClaimWatch Ltd, comments "We're all very pleased with these latest set of improvements to ClaimWatch. Existing ClaimWatch users have already been upgraded and feedback has been very positive. Bodyshops of all sizes are now benefiting from ClaimWatch and we frequently receive comments from users confirming its usefulness and scalability right across the industry."

ClaimWatch V2.4 is available immediately and all existing users are automatically upgraded free of charge. New users pay a one-off set up cost of £950.00 (+ VAT) and a monthly licence fee of £95.00 (+ VAT). The monthly fee includes maintenance; web hosting costs and upgrades.

Bodyshops thinking of signing up for ClaimWatch are advised to sign up at the forthcoming Bodyshop Live Exhibition on Saturday September 25th. Anyone signing up for ClaimWatch during the exhibition will receive 1000 free text message and a month's free licence fee ‚ immediately saving £195! If you are keen to take advantage of this offer and can't get to the show, simply call Steve Wheele on 07803 157197 on Saturday and the offer will still apply!

ClaimWatch can be purchased direct from ClaimWatch Ltd and is also available from its two resellers ‚ Byteback Systems and Swift. Notes to editors

ClaimWatch:
ClaimWatch is an easy to use, web-based tracking package that enables insurers, bodyshops and customers to monitor the repair status of their vehicle(s) twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, improving efficiency and customer care benefits. In essence it works like this: as soon as a vehicle to be repaired enters the bodyshop, all of its details are entered onto ClaimWatch and these are updated as the car moves through the repair process. The policyholder is given a secure ID number to enable the customer to access ClaimWatch and view the progress of his/her vehicle, whilst the insurer/work provider can view the repairs by logging onto password-protected web pages in ClaimWatch.

In the two years since it was launched, ClaimWatch has gained widespread acceptance in the bodyshop industry and has recently started to gain recommendations and mandations from insurance companies.
