> Before you start using ClaimWatch
Follow these simple steps to begin using ClaimWatch and you could be saving time and keeping your customers informed in a matter of days.
1. Ensure operatives understand the value of the system as ClaimWatch is most effective when used fully. Nominate at least two operatives to ensure there is cover during holidays/sickness. Allow them time to become familiar with the system before the launch date. They can use the demo site to practice, where there are already example jobs in the list. The demo site defaults back to its original settings every 24 hours.
2. Select a 'launch' date and stick to it!
3. Prior to the launch date, add work providers by selecting "Add provider" from the "Providers" menu. Add your fleet of courtesy cars by selecting "Add courtesy cars" from the "Courtesy Cars" menu.
To save you time, we normally pre-enter your bodyshop details and these can be edited by selecting "Edit Bodyshop" from the "Edit" menu. You may need to amend/enter your bodyshop's capacity figure representing your weekly work capacity. This is important as it is used to calculate remaining space in the shop and allows you to manage workflow more efficiently.
4. On the launch date, add only new jobs as they come into the shop. Ensure that email addresses and mobile phone numbers are requested, and entered with each new job. This is crucial and will ultimately save you time as customers will be automatically kept informed. We allocate you 10 free text messages to get you started.
5. Ensure that only your nominated operatives know the login details. We recommend that you change the access periodically for security reasons. This is done in the "Edit Bodyshop" section.
6. Inform work providers of their usernames and passwords so they can track the progress of their insured vehicles. This will save you time and reduce unnecessary phone calls.
Finally, contact us if you have any questions! ClaimWatch is very quick and easy to start using but it is worth ensuring that the system is used properly so it can provide maximum benefits. |
